In addition to the change we made to ensure the application works with iOS 5 we also made a few other changes that I would like to tell you about.

As of version 2.3.2, the version released this morning, myE6B looks and works nicely on the iPod Touch, the iPhone and now the iPad.  The screens look different on the iPad which take advantage of the addition screen size, but of all of the calculations you have come to depend on are available on all of the iOS devices.

We’ve also streamlined the user interface.  There are less taps and screens to navigate to get to the calculation you are looking for.

myE6B now fully supports iOS multitasking and will remember where you where if you leave and later return to the application.

A popular request was to remember the answer to one calculation and have that answer pre-populated in a second calculation - which we delivered in this version.

You can now email all of the weather reports as well the data collected in the “Time Add/Subtract” calculation.

We’ve added meters per second to all speed related calculations.

We’ve also fixed a bug in the Runway report decoder where the calculation was not allowing a certain valid value and fixed a bug in the decimal matrix screen where it would crash when making multiple changes.

I wanted to thank all of you that have sent in emails or called.  It is always good to hear from fellow pilots and is very much appreciated.

Sincerely,

William DeWeese
